Beef sirloin steak

A great recipe - Beef Sirloin Steak - recommended by our friend, Lithuanian bbq champion Nerijus Ižganaitis!
INGREDIENTS
  • 1 kg beef tenderloin
  • 2-3 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 2-3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika powder
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 1 teaspoon ground 5 kinds of pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 2 tablespoons oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 pieces of kiwifruit
  • 1 tablespoon flour

PREPARATION

Cut the beef tenderloin into 2-3 cm thick steaks. Place in a bowl and mix the chopped thyme, honey, smoked paprika powder, crushed garlic, pepper, mustard, oil and salt. Then add the peeled and mashed kiwifruit until smooth. Rub this marinade over the beef tenderloin steaks and leave at room temperature for about 40 minutes.

Bake the marinated steaks for 9-12 minutes at 250 degrees on a grill, in a frying pan or in the oven.
