THUROS grills are a German family business that started back in 1992, when Peter Schneider noticed how quickly barbecue culture and tradition was growing. Mr Schneider made a decision: to give the people in the green part of Germany what they want - quality barbecues - and he took the plunge and founded the THUROS brand.

Five years later, the company joined the German Barbecue Association, obtained the necessary certificates and, a decade later, won numerous awards for innovation and performance.

THUROS barbecues quickly became known for their quality and stainless steel construction, and were exported not only in Germany, but also worldwide. In 2010, THUROS became the main sponsor of the German Barbecue Association, and the manufacturer, confident in its performance, even offers a 25-year warranty on its barbecues!
