Pizza stone - for fans of larger grills and pizzas. The stone is made of a very natural, durable, slow-burning cordierite material, making it ideal for cooking pizzas or other baked goods on your grill, in the oven or in the oven.

You can also use this stone for baking bread and puff pastry. Your products will be evenly browned as if they were baked in a pizza oven.

The 36 cm diameter stone can be adapted to your existing kamado or gas grill. The pizza stone will fit all kamado grill models 54 cm and larger. It will perfectly fit Proflame Expert Maxi, Bono Grande, Bono media, Club Pro/Pro2, Zyle L, XL and other kamado grills.

    Specifications

    • Manufacturer: ZYLE
    • ZYLE Code: ZY22KSST
    • Diameter: 36 cm
    • Thickness: 1 cm
    • Suitable for kamado grills, various charcoal grills, gas grills, smokers, ovens, pizza ovens
    • Made of natural material - cordierite.
    • Cordierite does not absorb too much heat like some other materials and is not affected by large temperature fluctuations.
    • Before using the pizza stone for the first time, we recommend that you first wash it in warm water and wipe it with a cloth or cloth.
    • The pizza stone is specially designed for the special challenges of gas grills. Unlike an oven, where the temperature can be as low as 200°C to 400°C, gas grills can have much higher temperatures. A particular challenge for the stone is the strong temperature difference between the top and bottom of the pizza stone.
    • Place the pizza stone on the hot grill before use. The heating phase takes about 10 minutes.
    • To prevent the pizza dough from sticking to the stone and to make it easier to remove/put it on - use semolina flour / semolina/cornmeal instead of butter paper.
    • Clean the pizza stone only after it has cooled completely. Sudden, strong temperature fluctuations cause material reactions which may manifest themselves in the form of cracks. Avoid strong temperature fluctuations to ensure that it lasts for years. Clean the pizza stone only with warm water and a cloth.
    • Any stuck food residues shall be carefully removed with a steel brush or spatula.
    • The use of different ingredients may change the colour. Hygienically this is harmless. You can remove the stone colour by using a sheet of fine sandpaper. Afterwards, be sure to clean the pizza stone thoroughly.
