Aged beef entrecote steak with vegetables

Steak is an absolute classic on the grill. Beef steak is the perfect opportunity to surprise your guests with an unexpected but mature, classic taste. It's a simple enough dish to cook and with this recipe you'll also make a tasty side dish using gas grill.

Ingredients (for 4 servings):

  • 4 aged beef entrecote steaks (rib-eye) steaks
  • 6 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp dried thyme
  • 2 onions
  • 4 sweet peppers
  • 2 bunches of asparagus
  • salt to taste
  • black pepper to taste
  • 3 tbsp. oil
  • 6 tbsp. steak seasoning

Production:

  • In a large bowl, mix the lemon juice, thyme, finely chopped onions, sweet peppers and asparagus, sprinkle with salt and pepper and marinate for 15 minutes;
  • While the vegetables are marinating, preheat the grill with the roasting pan to 200°C;
  • Rub the steaks with steak seasoning. Clean the grill grates and brush with oil using silicone brush;
  • Place the vegetables in the roasting pan and roast the steak for 10 minutes, turning once. Transfer the cooked steak to a cutting board, wrap in foil / butcher paper and leave the meat to rest for 10 minutes before slicing it in the opposite direction to the strands of meat.
  • While the steak is resting, continue cooking the vegetables until they are soft and slightly charred.
