Steak is an absolute classic on the grill. Beef steak is the perfect opportunity to surprise your guests with an unexpected but mature, classic taste. It's a simple enough dish to cook and with this recipe you'll also make a tasty side dish using gas grill.
Ingredients (for 4 servings):
- 4 aged beef entrecote steaks (rib-eye) steaks
- 6 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp dried thyme
- 2 onions
- 4 sweet peppers
- 2 bunches of asparagus
- salt to taste
- black pepper to taste
- 3 tbsp. oil
- 6 tbsp. steak seasoning
Production:
- In a large bowl, mix the lemon juice, thyme, finely chopped onions, sweet peppers and asparagus, sprinkle with salt and pepper and marinate for 15 minutes;
- While the vegetables are marinating, preheat the grill with the roasting pan to 200°C;
- Rub the steaks with steak seasoning. Clean the grill grates and brush with oil using silicone brush;
- Place the vegetables in the roasting pan and roast the steak for 10 minutes, turning once. Transfer the cooked steak to a cutting board, wrap in foil / butcher paper and leave the meat to rest for 10 minutes before slicing it in the opposite direction to the strands of meat.
- While the steak is resting, continue cooking the vegetables until they are soft and slightly charred.
