As children head off to school, parents are invited to immerse themselves in the world of science. We're going to deepen our knowledge on topics relevant to all barbecue fans.
First, free at During your first lesson, you will hear from... to... about smoking in your barbecue. We'll ask questions, discuss, see, taste and enjoy dishes smoked with chips from different woods.
During the theoretical and practical lesson, we will reveal:
- the subtleties of cold and hot smoking
- discussing the different fractions of chips
- advice on which trees to choose for smoking poultry, fish or meat and why
- introducing 6 different wood chips and blocks that no Mediterranean can imagine cooking without
- we will also talk about pellets. How and where to use them?
- The nuances and subtleties of smoking on charcoal, gas, electric grills and in large or small smokehouses.
Everyone is welcome: those who have never tried to smoke before and those who have done so many times. Do your homework too - bring questions if you have failed at home. We'll answer them.
Guest speaker and one of the teachers - Stephane Pover: Spanish companies Smokey Olive Wood representative, professional grill master.
The tutorial will be held in English and Lithuanian. We will translate if needed.
